Jamye Royster is a teacher at Gwinnett County Public Schools with over 13 years of experience. She started her journey working in education as a paraprofessional at DeKalb County Public Schools. She then became a Georgia Teaching Fellow with TNTP at Atlanta Heights Charter School. In 2016, she was selected as Teacher of the Year. Jamye holds a Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College in Music and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong State University.
